I'm not sure what I'm doing right now, my style is sort of kind of leaning to Disney right now. :/ I've been watching too much Little Mermaid. What would you guys think if I just gave up on anime/manga style?

God, Wikus is such a dork munch in the beginning, and then when he started spitting up the black stuff I was kinda grossed off... I couldn't watch when his nails were coming off... but once he went half-alien I was suddenly reminded of the countless anime characters with half-something afflictions and I started imagining Wikus as a hot anime guy.... Suddenly, Wikus was a much cooler name and he was no longer a dork. <3 XDDDD God my mind is so weird. I giggled every time someone esploded. : D hmm.... And yeah, when he was getting government-tortured someone said the magic words, 'threshold test,' and I was like ooooooh my God!! Water!! (the name of an awesome KH fic) But more specifically the part where Riku was in the Shin-Ra testing facility and Hojo was giving him a threshold test. So... yesh. : D 'Cept in Riku's case, Hojo was just hitting him with blundt objects and musing, "The subject is showing signs of discomfort." Hojo, you fuck, you just hit him with a sledge hammer. I think he's showing a bit more than "discomfort." >3<

Alright, my weirdness is done. ..... So, yeah. Christmas break just started for us. DEAR GOD. I AM HAPPY. I can't even tell you how much a relief this is. I won't even bother going back to put italics back on any of that. I don't think they'd be able to emphasize it enough, so why bother?

I'll be leaving for Colorado next Windsday, and there's no internet ova there. So.... I'll be doing shit for a while... well, still on hiatus and working on my style, so, perhaps not.

I feel so bad, I really do. *sigh* I'm going on another hiatus, 'cause I'm such a lazy artist. God, I can't even call myself an artist. v____v" To anyone who might actually, y'know, give a shit, I'm doing this because lately I've had reason to call my entire style into question. Quite frankly, I'm not happy with the direction I'm going. So... hell, I really don't know. I'm going on a soul-search to try to figure out what the hell I want to draw.

Has anyone noticed? That my art is consistently inconsistent? Even after all this time, I still don't know my own style. Yeah, that's what this hiatus is about, I guess. Finding my style. I really don't know how long it will take, or even if this will work... so... yeah. I won't be posting anything until I'm happy with it.

On a wayyyy cooler note, I found this book in Barnes and Noble titled, "Final Fantasy and Philosophy." On the cover there are five caricatures of famous philosophers in moogle suits, all in kind-of chibi style and looking serious, while floating over the beach of Besaid Island. Needless to say, I got whiplash from an excessively violent double-take and begged my mom to buy it for me. [God, I love my mom. She willingly supplies my love of books, what most people would refer to as an 'unnatural bent.' Kudos to whoever know where that lovely phrase came from. ] And on the back cover it reads, "Does Cloud really exist (or should we really care)?; Is Kefka really insane?; Are Moogles a part of a socialist conspiracy?; Does the end of the game justify the means?" Oh, my God. I just about had a fit right there in the store. XDDDDD It is just that too, insanely awesome. XDDDDD

So... yeah, I had to read that a couple times. At first, I thought I was just mistaking something, but unless I'm wrong, isn't Cloud in Final Fantasy VII and Seifer in Final Fantasy VIII? (Not to mention KH 2) ..... I was thinking, 'Don't they mean Leon/Squall?' :/ Hm. I think so, but as they made this mistake twice.... well... they might just not have a good enough editor. XDDDDD

So my dad, mistakingly thinking I do these sorts of things, has asked me to come up with a sort of label/design thing to go into the box for my aunt and uncle's gift. We're sending them a box of assorted goodies from Seattle, and he wants the label to reflect that. He just doesn't get that I'm not a graphic design kind of artist, and refuses to listen to the fact that I have no idea what the fuck I'm doing.

Anyone have any ideas? . . . Anyone? Someone? _{halp meee ;3;} .
